Understanding experience complexity in a smart learning journey

This paper contributes to a pedagogical model for smart learning by establishing framework of some considerations based on learner experience journeys. Phenomenography is used investigate variation in Learners participate ‘Literary London’, situated London, UK, and 'Malta Democracy’, Valletta, Malta. An inclusive relational hierarchy complexity demonstrated with vertical, horizontal diagonal relationships between four categories journey. A relevance structure discussed, supporting connectivist-inspired participatory pedagogies environments. Sample participants consist Education degree university students, one other discipline represented (English Literature Creative Writing). Various levels study, cultural international backgrounds are represented. Understanding these kinds activities may help support today’s growing culture cities, "promote lifelong opportunities all" (Unesco SDG4), within context the European Commission 2018 Digital Competence Framework Citizens.
